Dumbbell Drill

Happy Sunday! These past couple of weeks have been crazy. Between Thanksgiving and being the Maid of Honor in my best friend’s wedding, I’ve hardly had time to post. Since my apartment complex just opened a fitness center on Thursday, I figured I’d start back up by sharing a workout.

I’m usually a barbell girl. Crossfit involves a lot of olympic lifting, so barbells are where I’m comfortable. Unfortunately, barbells aren’t always easily available and the fitness center at my complex doesn’t have one. So I pushed a bit outside of my comfort zone with this dumbbell drill! I used 20 lbs in each hand for deadlifts and weighted lunges, and 10 lb dumbbells for renegade rows. Check out my instagram (@healthydoseoflife) to see a demo of some of these moves!
